Here’s Why You Should Join Lou & Liz in Asbury Park

Because you just never know which celebrity will stop by!

This photo was taken one fine summer Friday morning from the NJNG Asbury Park Boardwalk Studio as one of the most famous members of The Soprano's strolled by!

We did a double-take as Vincent Pastore (aka Big Pussy!) walked right up to our microphone and needed no prompting at all to come on the air and reminisce about working with James Gandolfini and the other members of that tremendous cast.

It took a while, but eventually all of those runners and walkers on the boardwalk caught on to who was hanging with us, and it was a pretty wild moment.

So many celebs have passed by or heard about our show and shown up for a photo op or to promote their latest project, including Danny DeVito, members of The Village People, lots of reality show favorites from Survivor, American Idol, The Voice and Songland. We've had broadway stars and movie stars, too! And, of course, we have had some Point artists come and sing or chat.

In fact, one time a TV producer even filmed us as we did our morning show to include in US a segment of his PBS series!

So the next time you find yourself on the boardwalk in Asbury Park on a Friday morning between 5:30 and 10 am, take a walk past our mobile Point studio at Third & B'walk near Maruca's Tomato Pies and take a peak at who may be hanging out with us under that baseball cap and sunglasses!
