Just thinking about it, there are a few professions I would be terrible at and one of those professions is being a hibachi chef. Not only are you under pressure to cook food for people to enjoy, but you also have to put on a show. Playing with fire and juggling knives are things that I would be terrible at!

To be honest, I can barely correctly flip a grilled cheese that's cooking in a pan. These chefs are making onion volcanos and tossing pieces of zucchini across the table with their spatulas. If you really think about it, hibachi chefs are extremely talented. See below!

Random thought... Would you ever go to a hibachi-style breakfast? Instead of making fried rice and steak, what if the chef made a delicious breakfast in front of you. I think that's a million-dollar idea. Brunch with a group of friends, mimosas, and your food is being cooked in front of you. The chef is having fun etc... It's just like Japanese hibachi but with breakfast! Where can I invest?!

Anyway, my go-to hibachi order is chicken with extra fried rice. I have no idea what the two sauces the chef gives us, but I dump both sauces all over my plate. I always skip the soup, but the salad with the ginger dressing is tremendous. What about you? What's your go-to hibachi order?

Most importantly, the next time you are thinking about making hibachi plans with the family, make sure you stop at one of these locations. Below are the top 15 hibachi places in Monmouth County.
