Hot Weekend Weather Means Good News For Shore Businesses

Hot steamy summer weather may make it uncomfortable to move outdoors, or move at all for that matter, but it does mean good business for local shore businesses who could certainly use the break.

As the weekend began, many shore business owners were optimistic that the heatwave would bring a wave of tourists as well. The week leading up to the holday was a washout and many shore hot spots were hpoing for a weather turnaround, according to nj.com, and that's exactly what they got.
That combined with reports of a good deal of Parkway traffic last night could mean good things economically for the Shore this weekend, and even though it means we were up to our ears in heat and traffic, it also means some area businesses got a well needed and well deserved boost this weekend.
