The Jersey Shore will wind down July with hot, humid summer weather and temperatures that may feel like they're in the  triple digits.

Meteorologist Dan Zarrow says temperatures will be in the upper 80's to the mid 90's but in many places it may feel like it's over 100 degrees. The hottest day will be tomorrow (Wednesday), with a high of 93, but a triple digit heat index is a real possibility.

Today, we start the day with an Air Quality Alert posted by the National Weather Service. The alert is a code orange meaning the air quality is especially dangerous for people with asthma, heart or lung conditions, and the elderly.
