Everything is getting earlier and earlier, including Halloween decorations. The question is...how early is too early?

I actually saw Halloween decorations at some houses two weeks ago. That's tough to take for a guy who was hanging on to summer, and it still WAS summer. I thought that was definitely too early, but I chalked it up to a house full of excited kids who couldn't wait for Halloween.

Of course, by now, there are a ton of houses decorated, and there's a small part of my brain I'm still thinking It should wait until October. It looks great, and I'm sure the kids are loving it but I thought Halloween was in October.

Of course we missed Halloween last year and I'm sure that's a big part of it. Nothing against Halloween of the decorations that the kids love so much, but I'm curious. In a normal year, how early do you think is too early?
