It's December at the Jersey Shore, and it looks like we'll see some accumulating snow in our area. So how much snow will we get from this early December snow.

We asked our Chief Meteorologist Dan Zarrow exactly that, and here's what he thinks...

Advisories... There is a Winter Weather Advisory in effect for Monmouth & Ocean until 4:00am Tuesday. and there is a Coastal Flood Advisory for Shore from 10:00 am to 4:00 pm.

Accumulations. Here's the breakdown...

Western Monmouth and the Northwest corner of Ocean...3 to 6 inches

Eastern Monmouth and most of Ocean...1 to 3 inches

Southern and coastal Ocean...coating to an inch.

Timing...snow showers will begin this evening and end by midnight.
