Howell Teen Hoping To Be Next American Idol

The excitement of the new American Idol season goes beyond Jennifer Lopez, Harry Connick Jr. and Keith Urban. Stephanie Marie Hanvey of Howell is trying to be the next American Idol.

On the heals of the amazing performances of Jacquie Lee and her amazing success on The Voice, Monmouth County is getting ready to support another homegrown star who has her sights set on a career in the music business.

Stephanie is a student at Howell High School and has been singing since she was 9  years old. She joined us on the morning show today to give us a little insight into her experience so far on Idol and her goals and dreams.
