It was a big weekend at Jenkinsons in Point Pleasant Beach and we were proud to be part of it.

There was definitely Halloween in the air at the boardwalk and on the beach at Jenkinsons this weekend. In addition to the very awesome Boo on the Boardwalk, we held the Howl-O-Ween dog costume contest.

There was something fun for the kids at every turn with  Boo on the Boardwalk once again this year. The boardwalk was full of families celebrating Halloween, and by the way, the costumes were amazing. Great job kids, and great job moms and dads!

Speaking of great costumes, the Howl-O-Ween dog costume contest was amazing and we thank all of our participants and congratulate all our winners. There were so many entries, we didn't have enough room for a parade.

The judges actually had to parade around the huge inner circle formed by the competitors, and there was no lack of creativity among the dos and the dog owners. Great job by everybody!

And while the Howl-O-Ween event is over, you can still enjoy Boo on the Boardwalk again next weekend at Jenkinsons Boardwalk, Saturday and Sunday the 26th and 27th from 12:00 noon to 4:00pm each day.

And also remember, October 26th is also the date for the 10th Annual Monster Dash 5K and 1 mile fun run to benefit the Point Pleasant First Aid and Emergency Squad.Get all the details at the Jenkinsons Boardwalk Facebook page.
