Let's be very upfront about this, pizza is like cake in the sense that even if you have a piece of bad cake, you're still eating cake so you can't really complain.

Pizza is the same, a bad slice of pizza is disappointing, but hey you're still having a slice!

That being said when you have a slice of. high quality, delicious pizza it's an experience, not just a meal.

For example, having a few slices from Dominos is very different from chowing down on a slice from the Sawmill.

But sometimes you're in a rush and you'll take what you can get.

One Of America's Worst Pizza Chains Has 14 NJ Locations.

Taking into consideration just how many great local mom-and-pop pizza shops we have in Jersey it always surprises me that chains are still popular.

Places like Domino's, Papa John's and Little Ceasers.

Look there's nothing wrong with them but when you have the option of Brooklyn Square, Slice House, or Capone's it seems like a no-brainer.

Recently, 247 Wall Street released a list of 5 pizza chains to avoid in 2024, and I was firstly surprised at the number one result and secondly at how many Jersey locations it has.

They took a survey across the country asking what the worst pizza places are, and the results were overwhelming.

Places like Domino's, Papa John's, and CiCi's topped the list, but the number 1 worst pizza place according to 247 Wall Street is Chuck E. Cheese.

Chuck E. Cheese has 14 NJ locations and between you and I was never a place where I thought to go for pizza.

Sure, I'll take my niece so she can play in the big playground and hit some games but never would you think to order a pizza on Friday night and say "Let's get it from Chuck E. Cheese."

247 Wall Street says  Chuck E. Cheese ranked at the bottom of the list because of its sub-par ingredients, and bad crust.

Again though, I don't really see Chuck E. Cheese as a pizza place, more so just as an arcade that happens to sell pizza if you get hungry.

I'll stick with my Marathon Pizza thank you very much.
