Anytime you live at the Jersey Shore and can stroll the boardwalk, it's awesome. Any time you do it in mid January, it's a huge bonus.

And that is exactly what this weekend's weather brought us, a bonus, as long as you could put up with some stiff wind along with those very un-January like temperatures we had over the weekend.

Just to give you an idea just how warm it got, here are some daytime highs for the weekend, according to njweather.org...

Saturday, Holmdel, 69 degrees

Saturday Sea Girt, 63 degrees

Sunday, Howell, 68 degrees

Sunday Point Pleasant, 68 degrees

That is boardwalk weather right there, especially for January 11th and 12th and I'm glad so many of us, myself included, got to hit the boards and take advantage of it.

The good news is it stays relatively warm this week as well, with daytime highs expected in the 40's or 50's through Thursday, and then the inevitable return to reality with Friday's high only in the mid 30's. So, let's enjoy it while we can.
