Whether you're a fan of 'Jersey Shore' or not, there is now proof that the show is bringing in big money for Seaside.According to the Borough of Seaside Heights, rates for parking and beach badges haven't increased since 2008. Jersey Shore taped its first season in the summer of 2009. Take a look at the numbers.

  • 2008 - $1,967,094 (combined parking and beach revenue).
  • 2009 - $2,348,836.
  • 2010 - $2,975,237.
  • 2011 - $2,927,957.

Coincidence? We think not. While it may not be the ideal way to bring money into Seaside Heights, during tough economic times, 'Jersey Shore' did and will continue to do so this summer.

MTV’s Jersey Shore is set to tape Season 6 in Seaside. The Jersey Shore house, located at 1209 Ocean Terrace in Seaside Heights, is now available to rent through www.seaside-realty.com
