The Best Jersey Shore Events This Weekend

Have any Harry Potter fans in the house?  This weekend the Robert J. Novins Planetarium on the campus of Ocean County College is hosting The Astronomical World of Harry Potter.  Enjoy delicious potions, practice spells, and enjoy games and activities all while learning how the characters and events in Harry Potter take their origins from the stars. Various show times and activities all weekend long.

Ladies, looking for a girls night out?  This Saturday night catch up with Carrie, Miranda, Charlotte and Samantha for Sex n’ the City: the Super Unauthorized Musical Parody at the Count Basie Center for the Arts in Red Bank.

Did you get lucky in love this past Valentine’s Day?  Wednesday, the Eagle Oaks Country Club in Farmingdale hosts a Wedding Show with special offers, recommended wedding professionals, live entertainment, a chance to win prizes and more.  6:30 to 9.

Star Wars Laser Tag happens Friday night at the Middletown Sports Complex with trivia games, theme snacks and giveaways.  5 to 10 PM

You can enjoy Jazz and Cocktails, and of course Oysters Friday night at the Asbury Park Oyster Bar inside Convention Hall, recently named one of the Best Oyster Bars in the country.  Music starts at 5:30 PM.

Need some laughs, comedian Tracey Morgan performs at the Count Basie Center for the Arts in Red Bank, Friday night on his No Disrespect Tour.

Saturday, take the Plunge!  There’s still plenty of time to get Freezin’ for a Reason at the Annual Polar Bear Plunge in Seaside Heights to benefit Special Olympics New Jersey.  Registration begins at 8 AM, followed by the plunge at noon.

Ocean County Mall American Heart Blood Drive happens Saturday from 11 AM to 5 PM.  The bloodmobile will be near the main entrance.

The 7^th Annual ShamRock N Roll Event happens on Sunday at the Wonder Bar in Asbury Park.  A day of live local music featuring the Monmouth County Police & Fire Pipes & Drums, The Pat Roddy Band, Pat Guadagno and more.  All to benefit the annual Asbury Park St. Patrick’s Day Parade.
