Novins Planetarium on the campus of Ocean County College is hosting The Astronomical World of Harry Potter.  Enjoy delicious potions, practice spells, and enjoy games and activities all while learning how the characters and events in Harry Potter take their origins from the stars. Various show times and activities all weekend long.

Saturday, take the Plunge!  There’s still plenty of time to get Freezin’ for a Reason at the Annual Polar Bear Plunge in Seaside Heights to benefit Special Olympics New Jersey.  Registration begins at 8 AM, followed by the plunge at noon.

Ocean County Mall American Heart Blood Drive happens Saturday from 11 AM to 5 PM.  The bloodmobile will be near the main entrance.

The 7th Annual ShamRock N Roll Event happens on Sunday at the Wonder Bar in Asbury Park.  A day of live local music featuring the Monmouth County Police & Fire Pipes & Drums, The Pat Roddy Band, Pat Guadagno and more.  All to benefit the annual Asbury Park St. Patrick’s Day Parade.
