Jersey Shore Events To Keep You Busy This Weekend

Thursday, Jenkinson’s Boardwalk celebrates 90 years on the beach in Point Pleasant, with throwback deals and entertainment for a fun-filled day for the whole family.

Friday, Beach Ball-A-Palooza happens at Bayfront Fields Ocean County Park in Toms River with live music, food trucks, crafts, bay boat tours, guided nature tours and more.

Hey 80s music fans, Boy George with Culture Club and special guests the Thompson Twins play the Stone Pony Summer Stage, reportedly sold out, but you can hear the music from the boardwalk.

Looking for something to do with the little ones, Friday Night at the Monmouth Museum on Brookdale’s Lincroft Campus it’s a Sharks Rock Magic Show with plenty of magic, games, Dan the Scuba Man, shark facts, and audience participation and interaction 6 PM.

Saturday and Sunday, it’s Irish Fest at Laurita Winery in New Egypt with Live entertainment, Irish dancing, vineyard tours, Kids activities and more.

Still celebrating Shark Week??  Saturday, Leonardo State Marina hosts the Sharks of New Jersey presentation at the Nature Center, followed by shark crafts for kids.  Learn about Great White and Hammerhead sharks off the coast of the Jersey Shore, starting at 11AM.

Saturday, Monmouth Park hosts an Italian Festival and Wine Tasting starting at 11:30 AM.  They will have all kinds of Italian food, live music, crafters, bocce ball, Italian wines and more.

The Outdoor Free Concert series continues at West Park in Long Branch this Saturday with the Billy Hector Band starting at 5 PM.

Sunday pack a picnic basket and bring the family, it’s Picnic in the Park at Thompson Park in Lincroft. They’ll have canoe rentals, climb time, open ceramics and more.

Sunday morning, Belmar hosts their 10^th Year Anniversary Triathlon/Duathlon/Aqua for Autism starting at 7 AM.
