Wednesday, the 3rd Annual Anti-Valentine’s Day Songwriting Contest finale takes place at The Asbury Hotel in Asbury Park.  8 to 11 PM

Thursday, there’s a Valentine Pop Up Shop at the Chubby Pickle on Bay Avenue in the Highlands with a fun mix of local pop up merchants.  Enjoy a night of shopping, cocktails, frickles (aka as deep fried pickles), and fresh BBQ.  5 to 9 PM.

Valentine’s Day Horse and Carriage Rides happen at Pier Village in Long Branch from 4 to 8 on Valentine’s Day.  Reservations are recommended at www.piervillage.com.

On Valentine’s Day, Bradley Brew Project will be holding a special can release of their beloved Rose-style Ale called Pinky.  It’s brewed with grape must and hibiscus, and it will be available in a slim 12oz pink can.  Plus, live music from 7 to 10 PM.

The Asbury Hotel in Asbury Park will be hosting a special Wine and Valentine’s Chocolate Pairing on Valentine’s Day with 10 wine samplings, 10 chocolate selections and guided information on the pairing profiles.

Saturday, join Matt Ryan at iPlay America for their Valentine’s Day Kids Club Celebration from 11 AM to 1 PM.

Join Nicole Murry and the Point Crew Saturday at Freehold Nissan 1PM-3PM for their “Find your Forever Furry Valentine” dog adoption event. Freehold Nissan partnered with Pitties & Pals and Wagg On In to find dogs a home and raise money for local shelters. Stop on out to win Point Prizes and find a dog a forever home

Working Man’s Dublin Port Release party happens on Saturday at Toms River Brewing with live music and food truck action.  Noon through 10 PM.

The Green Dragon Buffet happens Sunday at Taka in Asbury Park, raising funds in support of the 7th Annual Asbury Park St. Patrick’s Day Parade.
