Jersey Shore University Medical Center Presents Community Day and 5K Run

This Sunday is the day for the annual Jersey Shore University Medical Center's 5K run/ walk and Community Day.

I am proud to be there once again this year to host the event. It's a great day of fun for the whole family. Some of the many activities include the 5K run/walk which is the third and final race in the Heart and Sole Cup, where there is $12,000 in total prize money.

After the race there will plenty of family fun as well, including free kids races, moon bounces, trackless train, free food and much more, as well as the K. Hovnanian Children's Health Fair.

Registration for the run begins at 7:30am. The run/walk starts at 10:00am and the kids race is scheduled for 11:00am. You can also take advantage of aadvance check-in at the Kurr Atrium tomorrow (Friday, September 13th) between 4:00pm and 5:30pm.
