This Weekend Actually Looks Nice – Here’s What’s Going On
Crab cakes and steamed clams and shrimp, OH MY! Friday, Saturday and Sunday the 33rd Annual Belmar Seafood Festival heads Downtown. Town officials have relocated the festival this year to the Belmar Plaza parking lot behind Pyanoe Plaza. Market vendors will be set up on Main Street between 8th and 10th Avenues, while musical entertainment performs in the center of Pyanoe Plaza. Admission to the festival is free, but food at each individual vendor will be for sale.
Friday and Saturday the Jersey Shore Festival returns to Seaside Heights rain or shine. The music and arts festival will have over 150 artists performing, all kinds of tasty treats, BMX and Skate shows, Motocross, a Ford Car Show, Pro’s versus Heroes Charity Flag Football, Monster Truck rides, a vendor village and more. Free admission.
The Craft Market Festival and Spring Auction at the Historic Village at Allaire happens on Saturday. Over 50 crafters, flowers, Allaire artisans, demonstrations and more. 10 AM till 4 PM
8th Annual Mary’s by the Sea Walk-A-Thon and 1st Annual 5k happens Saturday. Walk together to help women with cancer heal: mind body and soul.
The Original, Biggest & Best 30th Annual Chili & Salsa Cookoff in NJ happens in Toms River this Saturday, Rain or Shine. Vote for the best People’s Choice Chili & Salsa, enjoy the beer and wine garden, vendors, food trucks, rides, face painting, sand art, live entertainment and more. Free admission, 11 AM to 5 PM Washington Street.
Husky House Adoption Event happens Saturday at the Wonder Bar in Asbury Park. Fun for you and your dog, with great food, drinks and snacks. Meet some of the lovable and huggable adoptables. Noon till 7 PM
