Just How Hot Will The Jersey Shore Get Today?

We were wondering when the heat of summer would arrive at the Jersey Shore. Well the wait is over.

The heat and humidity that a true Jersey Shore summer is famous for arrived this weekend at the Jersey Shore and it has stuck around to start this work week. So just how hot will it get at the Jersey Shore today?

There is a heat advisory in effect for inland Monmouth & Ocean Counties that starts at 12:00 noon and remains in effect until 8:00pm tonight. We are expecting temperatures to reach into the 90's with a chance that the heat index will hit triple digits.

It will not be quite as oppressive along the coast. So for all those people, myself included, who were complaining that the summer temperatures weren't getting here soon enough, be careful what you wish for.
