Kevin Bacon is addressing Millennials in a great new video explaining how hard life was in the 1980s.

He laments about life before cell phones, when you had to talk to someone's PARENTS(!) on the phone first if you called their house.

He also says his favorite app is the Rubik's cube, and that those born after 1985 will never know the comfort of parachute pants.

Hmm, I was born IN '85...I know the struggle of having to talk to my high school boyfriend's mom if I called his house...of having to use a PAYPHONE...

Then...just before my 15th birthday, as my brother was about to get a driver's license...my parents caved...and I got a Nokia 5190. You guys, you could change the faceplate to like 5 different colors!!! At 16, I discovered texting. And I haven't stopped since.

Phew. '85. Right on the cusp of knowing the joy of both Rainbow Brite AND the college kids-only, no-newsfeed version of Facebook! Ah, yes.

Kevin Bacon, you're the man.
