Kmart just announced that they will be closing yet another location in mid-April -- the one on Route 36 in West Long Branch.

But here is the kicker...that is the LAST Kmart at the Jersey Shore.

"After careful review, we have made the difficult but necessary decision to close the Kmart store in West Long Branch, N.J., The liquidation sale will begin later this week and the store is planned to close in mid-April. " TransformCo said in a statement. "We encourage customers to continue shopping on Kmart.com for all their product needs."

Within the past two years alone, the Jersey Shore has seen Kmart close their locations in Brick, Toms River, Wall, Middletown and most recently, Freehold Raceway Mall.

Kmart...was it something we said?
