If you love Rita's you'll be happy to hear there's a new water ice flavor for you to enjoy all summer long and I think you're really going to love it!
I noticed the sign last night when I went to the Rita's in my town.
New Water Ice Flavor at Rita's
Rita's now has Kool-Aid Tropical Punch flavor on their menus!
It brings me back to my childhood when we used to get the little Kool-Aid pack and pour it into a big pitcher of water, after being outside on a hot summer day that was the best!
I'm not usually the person who tries new flavors. I go with cherry water ice almost every time, but I'm super excited to give this new flavor a try, especially as a Blendini or a Gelati with vanilla custard.
So what's Rita's most popular flavor?
The answer is mango!
The 2nd most popular flavor is cherry, followed by Swedish fish.
I can see this new Kool-Aid flavor making it into the top 5!
Rita's all started back in 1984 in Bensalem, Pennsylvania. It was a very hot summer and Bob Tumolo, a former Philadelphia firefighter, opened his business to make some extra money.
He named it after his wife, Rita.
Tumolo sold it back in the early 2000s, but it's still so popular.
You see Rita's everywhere you go, they now have nearly 550 stores in 30 states.
