Rita’s Stops Selling Frozen Custard
Rita's Ice, home of delicious frosty treats, stunned fans today with the news that they will stop selling frozen custard in stores.
It's due to an egg shortage related to an avian flu outbreak.
In place of the custard, shops will have soft-serve ice cream instead, in the same flavors. (Totally not the same!)
The change is hopefully only temporary until the egg shortage ends, when the company is hoping to be able to transition back to that fabulously creamy frozen custard.
Until then, I will be dreaming of a Gelati with chocolate brownie ice and chocolate custard!
