Welcome Spring with Free Rita’s Italian Ice

I'm sure there's some kind of joke I could make regarding tomorrow's snowy/icy forecast and this promotion, but I don't have time for jokes...IT'S ALMOST SPRING AND THERE'S FREE TREATS TO BE HAD!

Every year, Rita's Italian Ice celebrates the first day of spring by giving away a FREE -limited edition- cup of deliciousness. Available flavors will vary by location. (Lucky for me, they dropped off a few tubs of the good stuff today! Mango FTW!)

There's locations all over the Jersey Shore, and they'll be open from noon to 9 p.m.!

I'm normally a Rita's Gelati gal...more specifically, chocolate custard layered with coconut cream or chocolate brownie ice topped with more chocolate custard...mmmmm.

In addition to the free ice, they're also holding a pretty sweet photo contest...snap a photo of yourself with your free Rita's ice tomorrow, and upload it to Facebook, Twitter, or Instagram using #RitasFirstDayofSpring and you could win some amazing prizes...including free ice for a YEAR.
