Lou and Liz will be doing their show live all day from Jenkinson's in Point Pleasant Beach this coming Monday, March 25th starting at 6am. The show will be a look back at the devastation of Sandy and a look ahead to the first steps of restoration of the shore.

The show, which will start continue until 7pm, will feature special guests and dignitaries, the opening of the boardwalk and the kickoff to the building of a sandcastle, appropriately named "Sandy Castle" that is intended to break the world record for largest sandcastle in the world.

We will also get to follow several key people in Monmouth and Ocean counties on the days leading up to Sandy and the day of the storm itself. Featured will be Monmouth County Sheriff Shaun Golden, the team of Jenkinson's staff members who lived at the aquarium during the storm to keep the animals safe, as well as Megan Baglivio and Jonathan Miller, Point Pleasant first responders who stayed on duty throughout the storm only to come home to find out their own home had been virtually destroyed.

We will also be raising money for Hometown Heroes, so we'd love you to come out to be a part of an important day for the Jersey Shore. See you Monday at Jenkinson's!
