Is She Doing Our State Proud? The Latest Bachelor Villain is From Collingswood, NJ
The Jersey Girl on The Bachelor was causing quite a bit of drama this week.
Spoiler alert: I'll be discussing Monday night's episode of The Bachelor.
If you've been following along Clayton Echard's season of The Bachelor, you may have noticed that one of his contestants, Mara Agrait, hails from Collingswood. She even went to Rutgers University, according to Hollywood Life.
Agrait isn't the first contestant on the show to call New Jersey home. Recent NJ contestants include Zac Clark, who ended up getting engaged to Tayshia Adams on her season of The Bachelorette (although the pair recently split), and Greg Grippo, who was a contender on Katie Thurston's season of The Bachelorette.
Is Mara Agrait a villain on The Bachelor?
This week, we finally saw villain Shanae Ankney get sent home (in an awkward ferry ride into Niagara Falls). The girls in the house, and let's face it, the viewers, breathed a sigh of relief that we wouldn't have to see any more of her antics on TV. However, another villain was born. And sadly, it was our Jersey Girl Mara.
What happened to Mara on The Bachelor?
Mara was (rightfully) upset that she's the only girl in the house who hasn't gotten a 1 on 1 date with bachelor Clayton - which is a very big deal. Who wouldn't want to spend some alone time with the man whose heart you're competing for?
What started as a disappointment for Mara soon turned into aggravation, as she flat out told Clayton that the other girls he's been spending time with are not marriage material because they're younger than she is - yikes.
Listen, this is reality TV, so maybe Mara is just getting a bad edit. And someone has to play the villain role, right?
Do you think Mara Agrait will be walking into the sunset with Clayton Echard?
