Mark Your Calendar for the Jenk’s Job Fair

It may feel far from summer...but now's the time for your 14-year old teen to apply for their first job!

Jenkinson's Boardwalk in Point Pleasant Beach has been very good to my older son, Christopher, who began working there at the age of 14, and still loves it so much that he looks forward to going back every summer to make money!

He began as a games attendant, working the Ring Toss, Balloon Pop, etc., and enjoyed making friends among his co-workers, meeting thousands of vacationers, learning workplace skills including how to handle money and deal with the public, and he saved that money over the course of two summers and bought his first car with it!

Now he happily works at Perk's Cafe on Ocean Avenue across from the boardwalk, also owned by Jenkinson's.

What teen wouldn't want a side benefit of getting on the beach for free or discounts on mini-golf, ice cream, and pizza?

The managers at Jenkinson's are top notch and your child will gain work experience for the future and become a much more confident young adult.

There are jobs for all ages, but this is one of the rare places that will hire as young as age 14, so download the application now, have your teen fill it out, make several copies of it, and then get ready to attend the Job Fair coming up on Saturday, Feb. 24th and Sunday, March 11th, Noon - 3 pm both days.

There will be seasonal part time and full time positions available in many different areas from boardwalk games to beach attendants and ticket takers, to working in the rides section and so much more (based on age.)
