Vote for him to win the National Survivorship Award!

Seth Grumet has been named one of 6 nominees nationwide for the Hero of Hope Patient Award given by the Academy of Oncology Nurse & Patient Navigators (AONN+). The Hero of Hope Award seeks to honor those living with cancer who are inspiring others through their contributions to their communities by serving as a role model to other cancer patients and survivors, or by exuding extraordinary spirit, grace and optimism in the face of adversity.

Seth was training for his second Ironman Triathlon when he learned he had Hodgkin's lymphoma. He successfully treated his cancer after several recurrences and now runs STOMP the Monster, a non-profit that provides financial and other kinds of assistance to cancer patients and their families during treatment. Since its inception, that organization has given a total of $1.5 million in grant money raised through fundraisers, including the annual STOMP the Monster 5K and festival.
