Have you heard of Mary's Place By The Sea in Ocean Grove? The hope and healing they provide women who are battling cancer is special in many ways. Mary's Place is about to start a new chapter in a beautiful new home. First, we had to start packing!

Mary’s Place by the Sea is a nonprofit organization dedicated to supporting women who are receiving treatment for cancer. They provide services that complement guests medical treatment, including oncology massages, nutrition education, individual counseling, reflexology, Reiki, guided meditation and yoga. Best of all, it's all free of charge.

My grandmother passed away from breast cancer. Unfortunately, I never got to meet her. My mother has battled skin cancer several times. Mary's Place has a special place in my heart.

I always loved how the Mary's Place philosophy was first explained to me. Women are able to "take a vacation" from their illness with beautiful views of the beach and unique services provided by Mary's Place.

In November of 2014, they broke ground on our new home that will house up to 9 guests will now be able stay overnight in a private room with a full bathroom. Their guests with mobility issues will now be able to participate in all services available thanks to a new elevator to carry them to their upper floors.

It was moving day at Mary's Place, so I decided to pay a visit to my friends Maria, Michelle and Melanie to help them pack.

We'll keep you up to date on the move. In the meantime, please consider making a donation to Mary's Place. The staff invest their lives into helping women heal from cancer. Every guest has a strong support system and much love. These are very special people that I'm honored to know and work with.
