Memorial Middle School Career Day – Pay It Forward

Last Friday, I got to go back to school and be a part of Pt. Pleasant's Memorial Middle School Career Day as part of The Point's "Pay It Forward" with New Jersey Natural Gas. 

Why get into radio? You get to play music and talk for a living. Enough said, right? It's not as easy as it sounds. Like most careers, you have to pay your dues and put in the time to advance. It's a competitive industry, but the benefit of loving your job makes it all worth the ups and downs.

One of the biggest responsibilities of being a local radio personality is giving back to the community. It was awesome hanging out at Memorial and talking to the students and staff.
