It's almost fair and festival season at the Jersey Shore, and some local students have a great event planned for next month, perfect for foodies and families alike!

The 2016 Food Truck Fest is presented by the Future Business Leaders of America club at Middletown High School South.

It takes place at the high school (900 Nutswamp Rd.) on Friday, May 6th from 4:30-9:30 p.m. featuring plenty of food trucks like Philly Fry, The Empanada Guy, El Lechon de Negron, The Angry Crab, CheezeN, Lexylicious, and more!

There will also be music and fun activities like laser tag and a mobile video games truck!

The event is free to attend, but you do have to purchase the food from the trucks.

I love food truck festivals because you can try items from lots of different places, and if you're with a group, everyone can get what they want!

It's even better that this event is organized by students, so be sure to head out next month and support them!
