Empanada Guy Coming to Brick

One of my favorite food trucks is about to make a permanent home at the Jersey Shore!

The Empanada Guy will set up shop in the lot of the Ocean Ice Palace at 197 Chambersbridge Rd. in Brick.

Carlos Serrano, aka The Empanada Guy, has appeared on Food Network's 'Beat Bobby Flay', and has now expanded his delicious empire with a fleet of 7 trucks here in Jersey, all churning out delicious and crispy pockets of joy.

The truck that used to serve the Port Reading, NJ area is now moving down to Brick, where, according to their Facebook page, it will likely be open from 11a-8p during the week, and 11a-11p on Fridays and Saturdays.

If you've never had these empanadas, you have to give them a try! My favorites are the chorizo and the crab, and for dessert, you can't go wrong with the apple cinnamon!

Add in a potato ball or some fried plantains if you're especially hungry, and pretty soon you're in food truck heaven.

The Brick Empanada Guy truck should be up and running around February 1.
