We wake up to another day at the Jersey where snow is in the conversation. Here's what you need to know in Monmouth & Ocean Counties.

Dan Zarrow has been keeping us updated on everything you need to know for today's snow potential, so here's the latest.

Timing. The heaviest if the snow will fall before 11:00am at the Jersey Shore

Amount. There is the possibility that we will see anywhere from 2-4 inches of accumulations, mostly on grassy and non paved surfaces.

Advisories. There is a Winter Weather Advisory in effect for Monmouth & Ocean Counties until 1:00pm.

Visibility. Visibility can be very low during the heaviest of the snow, and could be less than a half mile for the northern half of the state.

Snowy roads? Dan says that it may be difficult for snow to accumulate on road surfaces, but not impossible, so please be very careful traveling, especially during the middle of the day.

Melting. Temperatures are expected to be in the mid 40's with sunshine later in the day, so melting should begin almost immediately

As always, stay up to the minute on Garden State weather conditions with Dan Zarrow's weather blogs.
