One thing is for sure. We love our booze here in the Garden State. We work hard and we play hard. We deserve our adult beverages. All of them. So what is the top liquor in the Garden State?
That is really an awesome question. It turns out you might be less surprised by what is the top liquor in the Garden State, and more surprised by what it isn't.
We think you probably first thought of wine. That was our first thought, too. But this is a hard liquor study, and wine wasn't included. If it was, that would mean that not one state had wine as their top drink, and that's just not possible.
With wine out of the way, what do you think New Jersey's top liquor is? Upgraded Points says it turns out that we buy more vodka than anything else. The people at Tito's thank us for that I'm sure.
We are certainly not alone in our love for vodka. The Garden State is one of 15 states that have vodka on the top of their list.
From Bloody Marys to Martinis, we'll be celebrating vodka all summer long at our favorite New Jersey watering hole, or even relaxing near our own pool or hot tub. We've earned it.
We still think that wine would beat vodka in a head-to-head battle here in the Garden State, but that is a contest for another day.
