I love food. PERIOD. END. OF. STORY.

So it is at the top of my priority list to let YOU ALL know when new food joints that are a must try are coming to the Jersey Shore.

Take a look at the list. Some are opened now and some will open within the next few months which may help us control our splurging.

Enjoy!

1898 Hinds Road, Suite 2, Toms River

(732) 769-6333

On October 22nd, owner, Peter Grippo just recently opened his third location in Toms River where Pizza Rustica previous occupied. What is special about this joint? You must try their signature pie, the upside-down Brooklyn square pizza.

101 Navesink Ave, Atlantic Highlands

(732) 291-2750

Chef Mike Metzner opened this Red Store back up in September after Pat Verange closed earlier this year. This time around, the location is offering breakfast, lunch, and some take-out dinners. Big Mike's Little Red Store is now a modern-day deli mixed with fine dining.

601 Union Ave, Brielle

(732) 722-8825

The second Prime 13 opened earlier this month in the space previously occupied by Brielle Ale House. Their first location is in Point Pleasant where they are known for their prime rib and 40-ounce rib-eye for two -- but don't worry because the rather impressive menu is similar in both locations.

502 Baking Company

502 Brick Blvd, Brick

(732) 228-1030

Next month, a brand new place to splurge will be coming to Brick. They will be selling breads, pies, cookies, chocolate eclairs, scones, Danish -- aka "a full bakery line" made from scratch! Their cranberries, blueberries, and apples will also be coming from local farmers markets!

101 Crawford's Corner Road, Holmdel

The first New Jersey location for the fast-casual Mediterranean and Middle Eastern restaurant is set to open on November 12th! Their made from scratch menu includes freshly baked pita and laffa bread, vegetarian dishes, Turkish meatballs, shawarma, and more!

Ada's Gojjo

1301 Memorial Drive, Asbury Park

(732) 222-5005

Come November, you can now experience Ethiopian and Dominican cuisine among the many options currently available in Asbury Park. I would get on line soon because the restaurant relocated to a larger venue because their waits were becoming astronomical at their old location which only had 13 tables.

212 Route 35 South, Middletown

The third location will not be opening until 2019 but it does look like it will be worth the wait. Sandwiches are on of their staple menu items but there will also be baked goods, and other prepared foods.
