NJ COVID-19 Hotline Fielding Hundreds Of Calls Daily

The New Jersey COVID-19 and Poison Center Public Hotline is available to the public 24/7 and has been fielding hundreds of calls daily.

The New Jersey COVID-19 and Poison Center Public Hotline is meant as a source of information and is not the place to get medical advice, to get test results or to locate a testing sight.

The number is 1-800-962-1253 or 1-800-222-1222, and trained professionals are standing by 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.The New Jersey Department of Health website also has a great deal of information.

The hotline has been fielding hundreds of calls. As a matter of fact, in the past 24 hours, they have fielded 670 calls. At it's peak this week, on March 13th, the hotline received 825 calls. The hotline has received just under 8000 calls to date.
