You can't make this stuff up.

According to a report from the Hopatcong, NJ Patch, a North Jersey man called the police claiming to be the president and demanded to speak with recently-signed New York Jet Tim Tebow. When police arrived at his home, the man was found in his mother's closet, hiding under pillows and blankets.

28-year-old Jason Slater was arrested and charged with making false public alarms and hindering apprehension. After his release from the Hopatcong Police Department, Slater alleged threw his summons on the ground and was charged with littering.

We're not ones to judge. People can do crazy things from the comfort and safety of a pillow fort and who doesn't want to talk to Tim Tebow?
