New Jersey Lands on “No-Go” Travel List – Is It Fair?
A recent article listing the "no-go" states in America had some things to say about New Jersey you're not going to like.
New Jersey Makes The "No-Go" List
The website Mind Body Globe published a list of the 10 states you should avoid in your travels, and New Jersey, of course, is on the list.
But it's not just that we made the list. It's also the things said about us that are getting me upset. Wait until you hear some of this stuff. This is what the article says.
In New Jersey, about one third of residents think their state is meaner than most Americans. The locals even take a kind of perverse pride in it.
If you simply change "meaner" to "more direct, I'd have a hard time arguing with that. I think we all would.
More Reasons New Jersey Is On The No-Go List
The article goes on to say that New Jersey drivers use a tactic that adds to our reputation. It's when we speed up so a car can't get in front of us.

That aggressive "squeeze" move, and other things we do on the roads, contributed to our inclusion on this list.
The article also cites a separate report claiming we are among the rudest states, making us an undesirable state to be in.
Why New Jersey Doesn't Deserve The Negative Publicity
Here's the problem. I disagree with the whole thing. If you commit to getting past the driving things, you will find the best beaches, boardwalks, restaurants, and people anywhere in the nation right here in the Garden State.

Before you believe everything you read, I suggest you form your own opinion about the Garden State. I think you'll be pleasantly surprised.
