The New Jersey Dish I’ve Eaten 100 Times And Still Order Every Summer
Even though I've eaten this meal at this restaurant so many times during a Jersey Shore summer stop, I'll order it again every chance I get.
A Jersey Shore Go-To Summer Meal
When I pick a Jersey Shore restaurant for an amazing summer meal, I do so with plenty of experience. Eating at great Jersey Shore restaurants has been a passion of mine for over three decades.
I'll be the first to admit that I have a huge, almost unhealthy love for Garden State Italian restaurants. But when I can peel myself away from a piping hot bowl of pasta, I find myself heading to some of the Shore's best seafood restaurants, especially in the summer.
There are so many great seafood restaurants at the Jersey Shore, choosing one is the first challenge, and for me, The Shrimp Box in Point Pleasant Beach is often my choice.
My Favorite Meal At The Shrimp Box
It has everything you want in a Jersey Shore seafood restaurant. The food is great, the restaurant is adorable, and you can watch the boats while you eat.

Here's my favorite meal there, from appetizers to the main course. I suggest you give it a try this summer.
Appetizer - I can't believe I'm doing this, but it's a tie. I alternate between the Spicy Pretzel Crusted Calamari (with a choice of marinara sauce or honey mustard) and the always fresh, always delicious Baked Maryland Crab Cake.

Main Course - I couldn't stay away from the pasta too long. The meal I love the most at this great Jersey Shore restaurant is the Lobster Ravioli. They are delicious and are served with 3 jumbo shrimp in a brandy lobster cream sauce.
I am so hungry just thinking about that great meal. if you try it, you will love it. But even if you go in a different direction, you can't go wrong on the Shrimp Box menu. Enjoy, and happy summer (almost)!
