After I came across this on Instagram, I immediately thought it was one of the most impressive things I've seen all year. Rob Kelly is a New Jersey surfer and he perfectly rode one of the largest New Jersey waves ever recorded on video. WATCH BELOW:

One word that comes to mind when I see something like that is EPIC. Surfing might be the last thing on your mind but it's pretty damn cool to see something that unique happen off the coast of New Jersey. To think the guy somehow stayed standing on his board is pretty remarkable too. It's one thing to ride a wave like that in warm Hawaii water but to do it in cold Jersey Shore water is legendary. The water is fifty-five degrees and even though surfers wear wetsuits, it's still not a delightful feeling when you're being tossed under. Rob Kelly is from Ocean City, New Jersey and he deserves all the credit in the world. You can follow his surfing adventures by following him on Instagram. CLICK THIS LINK!

The cold Jersey Shore winter is knocking on the door but it's easy for our coast in the offseason to put a smile on my face. The beaches are clean, the boardwalks are quiet, and the ocean most of the time looks crystal clear. Have fun exploring this winter and most importantly I wish you great health. Enjoy the holidays the best you possibly can! - Jimmy G
