So, do you think you can name a New Jersey celebrity who opens his heart and wallet for good causes all the time. Here's a hint. He's probably the biggest Garden State celebrity, or at least in the top two.

If you said Jon Bon Jovi, you would be 100% right. He is sitting there right on top of the list put together by Work & Money.

So here are some great examples of just how charitable that one of the universe's biggest rock stars is...

He donated $1 million to help in the relief effort for Hurricane Katrina in New Orleans, he ghave $1 million to help New Jersey with Superstorm Sand relief. He has donated half a million dollars to help veterans and even given proceeds of a song to an organization that trains service dogs

And we haven't even talked about the amazing work he and Dorothea are doing with the two locations of JBJ Soul Kitchen. Of course our local superstar should be on top of this list.

And by the way, another New Jersey star makes the list as well. Meryl Streep and her husband Donald Gummer are among the celebrities who are putting their money to good use.

So thank you to these amazing ambassadors of the Garden State who are making a big difference close to home and all over the world.
