Owners No Longer Able to Care for this Sweet Dog
Our Point Pet of the Week needs an adult-only home.
Angela is a sweet terrier mix, about 5 years old, who was surrendered to the Monmouth County SPCA because her family was no longer able to care for her. Now she needs a new adult-only home.
This precious dog can be a little shy when she meets new people, but she really comes out of her shell during play time. Angela loves her squeaky toys and playing fetch or tug. She also knows most of her basic commands like 'sit', 'stay', 'come', 'down', and 'shake'.
Since coming to the shelter Angela has made a lot of human friends who love to take her for long walks in the park. She also enjoys snuggling with her human friends and loves all of the attention they give her.
So far Angela has preferred human attention to that of other canine companions but she definitely has enough love to give to her future forever-humans!
If you'd like to meet Angela please visit her at the Eatontown location, 260 Wall Street, Noon - 7 pm on Wednesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays, and Noon - 5 pm on Saturdays, Sundays, AND Mondays.
The MCSPCA is now closed on Tuesdays so that the adoption team can catch up and get more animals ready for adoption. For more info call 732-542-4552 or email firstname.lastname@example.org. Adoption counselors will answer all of your questions.
Also, today (Friday, Feb. 10th) and every Friday the MCSPCA holds their weekly vaccine clinic. No appointment is necessary. Just come in with your leashed or crated pet from 10:30 am to 2 pm. All vaccines are available at $30 each. They also offer 4DX testing and microchipping. And you can purchase your heartworm and flea/tick preventatives while you're there.
