Pedal for Presents to Give Asbury Park Kids Gifts This Christmas

This would have been the 20th annual "Christmas In July" fundraiser to benefit the non-profit Asbury Park Toy Drive so that all kids in need in the city get toys this holiday season. But, due to Covid-19, a new event is being held for the first time!

Pedaling for Presents will be a live outdoor cycling event on August 30th, so grab some friends and get ready to spin on the boardwalk!

Teams of cyclists will pedal on stationary bikes for up to 12 hours on the green space on the Asbury Boardwalk between First and Second Avenues, from 6 am - 6 pm, while getting cheers from onlookers.

Each team is asked to raise a minimum of $300. Registration will be capped at 30 teams of 1 - 4 cyclists, so sign up now!

Prizes will be awarded to the top individual and top team fundraiser.

And if you'd like to stop by and watch the spinners that day, it would be great if you could bring a new toy to donate or make a cash donation.  Both will be happily accepted.

Let's help make the holidays extra special for the children of Asbury Park this season. We have already had such a tough year from Covid-19. So many families are struggling financially and emotionally, kids have been isolated and socially-distanced and are confused about how school will look and when life will get back to normal. So many kids in need would have gifts to look forward to for the holidays if you could just help a little!
