It's time to introduce you to this week's Point Pet of the Week. Please say hello to our new friend Patron.

Patron is a 1 1/2 year old blue nose terrier mix and according to the Monmouth County SPCA he was surrendered along with his canine sister to the shelter after his family had a newborn join the family and they did not have enough time for them.
Patron lived with this family since he was just 8 weeks old and was reported to be well behaved in the home and fully house trained!  He is a sweet dog who is playful and gets along with other dogs too!

Patron loves to play fetch with a tennis ball or squeaky toy, and he can play for hours!  He is also a smart boy who knows most of his commands and he is ready to learn more.  Now he just needs a family who can teach him new tricks!
Learn more about Patron at the Eatontown location of the Monmouth County SPCA at 260 Wall Street with new adoption hours, 12 noon to 7 pm on Wednesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays as well as 12 pm to 5pm on Saturdays and Sundays and Mondays. They are closed on Tuesdays so that our adoption team can catch up and get more animals ready for adoption!
