It is time to meet this week's adorable Point Pet of the Week. His name is Richie, and he needs a home.

First, let's start with some good news. Last week's Point Pet of the Week, Camille the Seal, who is a dog, found her forever home! What awesome news! Now let's see if we can do the same for Richie.

Six year old sweet, handsome and intelligent Richie has been in the care of the Monmouth County SPCA  for well over a year now. He was surrendered in July of 2017 from a family in Ocean Township.
Richie, a terrier mix, is the perfect house guest when he goes on overnights with his favorite volunteer friends. Richie loves laying on the couch watching Netflix, taking walks in the park and playing with his squeaky toys.
Mild mannered, quiet and well behaved Richie is like velcro and wants nothing more than to be your best friend. Richie knows all his commands and is a star pupil in the shelter's "Buddy Program."
Richie loves his tennis balls. Word is, he could play for hours! This boy brings it back and drops it every time! Open your heart to adorable Richie, because life is better with a best friend.
If you want more information on Richie or any of the other adorable animals available for adoption, or you want to help in another way, please visit the Monmouth County SPCA website.

Here's Richie!
