Poll Results – How Does Jersey Shore Want To Handle Tipping?

Tipping at restaurants has become the topic of conversation over the past week or so, so we asked you whether you'd rather handle the tipping on your own or have the restaurant increase their menu item prices and add the difference to the server's hourly rate.

It's not too surprising to me that the independent , 'I'll handle this myself' Jersey attitude we are so familiar with came through in the poll, but the results were actually closer than I thought they would be.

Here's how you voted in the poll regarding whether restaurants should raise prices and pass the difference on to the servers or to let customers continue to handle tipping...

Good idea for everyone................................27%
