Liz and I were talking about the last day of school. We were talking about how much fun it was for us as kids. These days, Liz has figure out how to keep the kids busy and happy all summer long. Not an easy task, so I thought I would break down the summer numbers for her...and you!

By my calculations, summer for her kids is 79 days long, which works out to 1896 hours. This summer will feature 55 weekdays, or 1320 hours.  Remember these hours include sleep time, if that makes you feel any better.

There are only 11 mondays or 15,840 minutes. That doesn't seem like too much time to fill, does it?

I thought it would be just  cruel to break this down into seconds, and frankly, I don't think the numbers would have fit. And I apologize to my math teacher and all the moms if my calculations are off, but I don't think so.

So good luck Liz and all the moms , with summer 2012. Don't worry September is only one thousa......oh, never mind.
