Another ale house is coming to a very familiar, and popular spot on the Asbury Park boardwalk!

You may have noticed that McLoone's has been closed recently. There's a good reason for that. The upstairs "Supper Club" is getting a facelift with some minor improvements, but the downstairs, where the "Asbury Grille" used to be is getting completely renovated.

Robinson Ale House Asbury Park is set to open by the end of April. If that name sounds familiar, it's because McLoone's operates an ale house of the same name in Red Bank.

Tim told The Coaster that the "Robinson" name comes from his wife. That is her maiden name. McCloone said to expect the pub food you've come to love, but with the addition of more seafood dishes. He added that as the Asbury Park boardwalk (and it's clientele) has evolved, this was a necessary move for the restaurant.

I'm looking forward to checking out the new Robinson Ale House in Asbury when it opens! You can't beat that view.
