We have three girls...the older two are vaccinated but our little one was not eligible yet. In our family, we will feel much better about traveling and gathering for Thanksgiving when she gets vaccinated. It looks like we will all be able to do that just in time...
Earlier this week I told you that we should have vaccines for our little kids (under 11) before Halloween and now we see those wheels in motion. Jersey is preparing for the massive demand coming, specifically, for children ages 5 to 11 for the Pfizer/BioNTech COVID vaccine. The FDA is expected to approve the shot for kids as early as Halloween, or worst case, they may push it to early November.

Once the FDA gives the green light, there are 28 million American children in that age range that will be qualified to get the vaccine.
Gov. Murphy has mentioned that New Jersey plans to reopen three vaccine mega-sites...one in North Jersey, one in Central Jersey and we already have one mega-site in Gloucester County.
Thousands of children have been hospitalized with COVID-related complications since 2020. There are 73 million children in the U.S., over 5 million of them have tested positive for COVID.
