Starbucks Creates $150 Limited Edition Mug

What to get for the coffee drinker who seemingly has it all? How about a $150 dollar mug!

What makes it so pricey?

It's covered in crystals. Swarovski crystals.

The Starbucks Limited Edition Swarovski PSL 10th Anniversary Mug (the name alone...jeez...) will be sold exclusively online, in honor of the 10th anniversary of the ever-so-popular Pumpkin Spice Latte.

The mug is appropriately fall colored, with caramel crystals dotting the cup, and green crystals sort of making up the Starbucks logo.

Starbucks, THIS is why everyone makes fun of you. I love you so, but this is the kind of thing that adds to the, 'Starbucks is so expensive, a cup of coffee is $5...' nonsense! (I say nonsense because it's not true, regular coffee is about $2, the fancy syrup-y lattes and frozen drinks are what cost a lot.)

I love pumpkin drinks as much as the next gal, but it's crazy to drop $150 for a mug when  you can pay for 30ish PSLs with the same amount of money!

Now, the mug DOES come with a $20 Starbucks gift card, so I suppose it's only $130, but STILL..you can't even put it in the microwave or dishwasher! I'll pass.

The mugs are only available by pre-order for Starbucks Gold card members for now, but will likely be available to everyone soon. They are only making 600 though, so if you have nothing else to do with your cash, by all means, go for it!

And BTW, I STILL believe it's wrong to sip on pumpkin before Oct. 1! I refuse to acknowledge the impending arrival of fall!
