Keep The Jersey Shore Clean At These Beach Cleanup Events [2020]

We say this every year: Please keep our Jersey Shore beaches clean.

But alas...there are people EVERY YEAR who don't listen.

We live here so I guess the responsibility of cleaning has to mainly fall on our shoulders.

Shout out to the Surfrider Foundation: Jersey Shore Chapter and JonesBar who have put together The 2020 Beach Cleanup Calendar which includes cleanup events that are scheduled to happen throughout the entire year of 2020!

In case you are not aware of the Surfrider Foundation, here is their mission statement below so you can get an idea of what this amazing organization is all about.

"The Surfrider Foundation is a community of everyday people who passionately protect our playground - the ocean, waves, and beaches -that provide us so much enjoyment."

 

"Our staff of over 50 people help support our chapter network in their campaigns, champion for policy and fight legal battles for our coasts, bring awareness to the issues facing our ocean, provide critical support for areas like accounting, technology, and HR, and raise money to make all of this happen. We have an appetite for adventure and we all share a common passion - we love and appreciate our ocean, waves and beaches."
