The Count Basie Center Teen & College Film Fest is coming next spring, and those from 7th grade through college can start submitting their films now!

This is open to all NJ students, including NJ high school graduates who attend college full-time out of state.

The Film Festival will take place virtually next April (2021) and awards will be given in several grade level categories for different genres like Best Documentary, Best Animation, and Best Acting Performance.

An Audience Award will be given to the film with the highest online score on April 14th, 2021.

There's even a school award that will go to a school that has three or more students submit their film (winning school will be chosen by the highest average score of their films) and the prize for the winning school is Sony filmmaking equipment!

The overall winning films will even get a shot at a world premiere celebration at the new Basie Center Cinemas in Red Bank! Those films will be chosen based on official selections with the overall highest ratings and audience scores.)
